Emergencies happen. Responsive migration to the rescue!

We’d been a fan of Taste of Asia for quite some time when we noticed they were having website problems. Their previous site which was not being maintained for them became a victim of malware which was completely blocking people from accessing the site and sending the info to Google which was hurting their rank by the day. The results was a clear drop in business and they needed it fixed fast!

We worked quickly with the Lum family to secure the transfer of their domain to their ownership and set up new, affordable hostin0. We also immediately set up a new landing page with their basic information and a link to a PDF of their menu so customers could reach them again.

Without the ability to access the old website and not backup to work from, we were able to locate a few archived site pages online and procure the rest of the images and logo from their daughter (a talented photographer).

We modeled the new site after the original, making conscious design upgrades and including some basic copywriting and editing to pull it all together. Their new online menu is all text based, thanks to the powerful Visual Composer plugin, so every word is part of their SEO and it’s easy to update descriptions, offerings and prices on the fly.

Of course, no website is complete without Google Analytics setup and Webmaster Tools verification, so they can track their traffic and tell right away if their marketing and social media efforts are working.
